The one rule
Rent the venue from us. Book the caterer separately.
No campus kitchen is approved for commercial use yet. Licensed caterers serve the way caterers serve any venue: their license, their food, booked by the guest directly. We never sell food as part of a package right now.
The three rules
Only licensed caterers serve food on campus. They arrive and work the way a caterer works any venue.
The guest books the caterer directly. We rent the space and connect people: "we can put you in contact with our preferred caterers." The venue rental and the catering are two separate bookings, never one price.
No food or beverage promotion right now. No menus on our pages, no food packages, no bar promotion. Anything public that mentions food gets Adam's approval on the wording first.
Say it this way
The words matter while the approval is in process.
Say "preferred caterers." Never "partners," never "our caterers," never "in-house."
Promote the venue, then connect: "Round Table is available as a venue, and we're happy to put you in contact with our preferred caterers for BBQ or farm-to-table dinners."
It's a small town. We speak about every caterer with the same warmth, and we don't set anyone up to compete.
When this changes
The DEQ application is in process and this card updates the week approval lands. At that point food can ride inside a quote and this page will say so. Until this page changes, the rules above stand.
