What to Expect at Boulder Creek

Welcome. This page covers the practical things so your stay runs smooth. Your agreement has the fine print; this is the friendly version.

Arrival and departure

Check-in 3:00 PM, checkout 11:00 AM. Your re•world host walks the property with you before your event to map your workshop, ceremony, and gathering spots.

Your spaces

Your reserved building is exclusively yours for your nights. You also get the primary community fire pit and the shared campus amenities: sauna, pond access, and walking trails. The campus itself is shared, so other guests may be on the property during your stay. Want a space beyond your list? Ask in advance and we will arrange it.

House rules

  • Fires in designated fire pits only. Posted fire and burn-ban rules always apply.
  • No smoking inside any building.
  • Quiet hours 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • No pets without advance approval.
  • Leave spaces the way you found them. Damage beyond normal wear is on the host.

Water and wild

The pond is unsupervised and swimming is at your own risk. Hiking, sauna, and pond use follow the safety rules in your signed waiver. This is a working rural property in north Idaho: weather, wildlife, and uneven ground come with it.

Waivers

Every attendee signs the participant waiver before joining any activity. Your host collects them; all waivers are due by arrival. Prefer not to be photographed or recorded? Tell us in writing before you arrive.

Money, in plain words (for the booker)

  • Payments run in three: 25% books your dates, 50% at 30 days out, the last 25% at arrival.
  • The first payment is non-refundable; it holds your dates exclusively.
  • Your final guest count is due 14 days before arrival. The last payment is figured at that count.
  • Checks to BCIP, or card by request (cards carry a 3% processing fee).
  • Idaho taxes are itemized: 8% lodging, 6% experience fees.

If plans change

We will work with you. Reschedule within 12 months and every payment you have made applies to the new date. Cancel within 30 days of arrival and the balance is due unless we rebook your dates. If we ever have to cancel on our side for safety (wildfire, smoke, closures), you choose: full refund or a new date.
