Real rows from the Sheet. Twenty one columns, left to right. Scroll it sideways the same way you would in Google Sheets. Row 12 is Amanda's retreat, highlighted, and the marked cells are the ones worth understanding before you touch anything.

Unit ids, not names

Type cedar-chalet, never "Cedar Chalet". The ids come from the Units tab. Get this wrong and the board cannot match the building.

Row 4 and row 16 do this right

They list which cells are still guesses, so the board marks them unconfirmed instead of showing a guess as a fact.

Her party_size of 14 is the ceiling, not a confirmed count. Empty here tells the board 14 is a fact. It should say party_size.

Held, but the deposit is in

Column O says TRUE. Once the signed agreement is confirmed, this moves to Confirmed.

A	id	amanda-likhita-aug A short nickname, lowercase with dashes. Never change it after the row exists; it is how everything else finds this booking.
B	name	Women's Retreat, Amanda & Likhita Spell it exactly the same on the calendar. Different spellings show up as two bookings on the board.
C	org	re•world Only when we are the ones producing it. Leave blank for a guest booking.
D	event_type	Partner retreat What kind of thing it is. Reuse a phrase already in the column instead of inventing one.

M	quote	1862 The number you quoted. No dollar sign, no commas.
N	deposit	450 The deposit amount, same format.
O	deposit_paid	TRUE or FALSE All capitals. Has the money actually landed, not whether it was promised.

S	notes	Wants early check-in Friday Your own words, shown on the board exactly as written. Keep money out of it; money has its own columns.
U	assumed	spaces, party_size, beds List any column in this row that is still a guess. The board then marks those cells unconfirmed. Money and contacts are never guessed, so leave them blank instead.

Each word means something real changed in the world, not how confident anyone feels.

Deposit and signature

Both in hand. Anything less is still Held.

These three are the Sheet. The GHL pipeline carries more stages than this, because sales needs a finer view. The Sheet stays at three on purpose, so the board and the team never have to guess what a word means.

The traps

Four Things That Break It

Typing a unit name instead of its id. Cedar Chalet does not match anything. It is cedar-chalet, from the Units tab.
Spelling the name differently here and on the calendar. The board then shows one booking twice.
Filling a cell with a guess and leaving assumed empty. The board has no way to know, so it presents the guess as fact.
Changing the id after the row exists. Everything that points at this booking loses it.
