Goes out three days before arrival, from the booking owner, personalized at the top. Everything a guest needs between "we're packed" and "we found our beds." Attach the campus map (see 26-0717-CAMPUS-MAP-ONE-PAGER.md).
Getting here
- Address: 372 Denali Ln, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805 [CONFIRM this is the address we want guests to navigate to - it is the address published on bouldercreekretreat.com]
- Approach: via Cow Creek Road [CONFIRM route description and whether GPS routes it correctly - some rural roads misroute]
- Entry point: [CONFIRM - is there a gate, a code, a sign at the turn? Never guess this in the final copy. Reference the campus map: entry comes in past the farm fields at the west end]
- Drive times: [CONFIRM - Bonners Ferry X min, Sandpoint X min, Spokane airport X hrs. These numbers exist in someone's head, get them once]
- Last-services note: [CONFIRM nearest gas and groceries - likely Bonners Ferry. Say it plainly: "Fuel up and shop in Bonners Ferry, it is the last stop."]
Check-in and checkout
- Check-in 3:00 PM. Checkout 11:00 AM.
- Early arrival or late departure: ask your booking owner in advance, we will say yes when the calendar allows it.
Your building
One short block per unit. The T-3 send includes only the block(s) for the buildings this group booked. Each block: one warm sentence about the building, beds and layout, kitchen or shared-kitchen note, where it sits on the map.
- Cedar Chalet [slot: sleeps 9, 1 King + 1 Queen + 5 Twin, full kitchen]
- Creekside Suite [slot: sleeps 6, 3 Queen, kitchen]
- Grotto Suite [slot: sleeps 4, 1 King + 2 Twin, kitchen]
- Ranch House [slot: 4 suites, 1 Queen each, community kitchen]
- Timberline Dorms [slot: sleeps 20, 4 Queen rooms + 12 Twin, shared bath]
- White Pines Dorm [slot: sleeps 28, 3 Queen rooms + 22 Twin, shared bath]
- Tamarack Dorm [slot: sleeps 48, 6 Queen rooms + 36 Twin, shared bath]
[Redline question: do these blocks use the booking-system names above, or the property names on the map? See the naming-reconcile list in the campus map one-pager. The arrival guide and the map must match each other.]
Your first hour on property
- Where to park: [CONFIRM - main lot by which building, overflow where. Mark both on the campus map]
- Who meets you: your re•world host, [NAME] - they will text you the morning of arrival [per the comms standard, GHL sends the arrival-day text with the host's number]
- The walkthrough: your host walks the property with you - your building, your gathering spots, the fire pit, the sauna and pond, and where everything lives. Plan 20 to 30 minutes before you settle in.
What to bring for north Idaho
Season slots - the send picks the block that matches the dates:
- Summer (Jun-Aug): [slot: layers for cool evenings, swimsuit for the pond, sun cover, closed shoes for trails]
- Shoulder (Apr-May, Sep-Oct): [slot: real rain layer, warm layer, boots - mornings can be near freezing]
- Winter (Nov-Mar): [slot: true winter gear, traction for ice, confirm what the property provides vs what guests bring] [CONFIRM winter operations status before this block ever sends]
- Always: refillable water bottle, headlamp or phone light for night walks, anything your program needs (yoga mats, instruments, notebooks). [CONFIRM what the property stocks vs what guests should bring - linens, towels, firewood]
Connectivity, honestly
- Cell service: [CONFIRM carrier-by-carrier reality on campus - say it straight, e.g. "Verizon holds a bar or two, AT&T mostly does not"]
- Wifi: [CONFIRM which buildings have it and the network name/password handoff - printed in the space or in this guide?]
- Frame it as a feature, gently: most groups come here partly to put the phone down. But say the truth first so nobody is surprised.
Quiet hours and fire, the one-liner
Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and fires live only in the designated fire pits. The full house rules are on the What to Expect page waiting for you in your building - two minutes, worth the read.
Who to call
- Your re•world host (on property): [NAME + PHONE] - first call for anything during your stay.
- Your booking owner (booking, payments, changes): [NAME + PHONE + EMAIL]
- Emergencies: 911 works here. [CONFIRM nearest hospital / urgent care line for the guide - Bonners Ferry has Boundary Community Hospital, confirm we want it listed]
Not in this guide (on purpose)
- House rules detail - lives in the expectations one-pager, in the space.
- Money and balance detail - handled at T-14, not re-litigated at T-3.
- Waiver chase - handled separately until every name is in.
